Seiken Densetsu 3 seen played on Nintendo Switch, Square Enix teases

If you’re a fan of the franchise known as the secret of mana here in the states, you’ll know you never got to see a sequel. Debuted in 1995 on the SNES, Secret of Mana was one of the classic Nintendo games back in the day. Recently, Square Enix posted a 10sec video of employees playing the game on the switch. Wait what? Now we don’t know if this was an emulator or a virtual port all we know is Square Enix has a tendency of dropping gems like these and never explaining why they do it.

Nintendo hasn’t said anything about porting over any of the classic NES games. Seeing something like Final Fantasy V without the use of a crappy emulator will surely send Nintendo fan boys(and myself) into a frenzy. I’m still waiting for my sequel to the Legend of Dragoon and Chrono Trigger, here’s to hoping this is a sign of great things to come!
