One Piece Manga Has 350 Million Copies in Print Worldwide

This year’s May issue of Shueisha‘s Saikyō Jump magazine shared on Saturday that Eiichiro Oda‘s One Piece manga has 350 million copies printed worldwide. Come on people, let that sink in. 350 Million copies! Nevermind the money, but the pure public uproar and general admiration of art, also known as One Piece would make ANYONE jealous. To put that into perspective, it is almost THREE TIMES the population of Japan…. Yes the country JAPAN. Oda set records copies in June of 15′ and seemingly might never be surpassed for the foreseeable future. Lets get a little background, One Piece was launched in 1997, and has been published in 30+ countries and continues to be translated and spread throughout the world. The 84th, yes 84th volume of this amazing manga was released Feb 4th.
