Premiering July 29, 2017 in Japan, the live action Tokyo Ghoul adaption is set to swoon over die hard fans. The trailer is very short but it does show key characters from the main story line and not season 2. Although the series season 3 air date has been “misinterpreted”, the live action film adaptation isn’t anything surprising. We can say it was contributed to the delay of Season 3.

Every thing anime seems to now want to take it’s place on the big screen. Not only Tokyo Ghoul, but also Fullmetal Alchemist is soon to debut in theater come this December. Goes to show how animation and illustration can lead to other adaptions of the art.
